Rosa started two years ago with this small lace-making business in the Padre Hurtado gallery in the Maipú district.

She decided to start her own business when she was unemployed and without options to support her two daughters.

With a lot of effort she managed to establish herself and become known in the sector. She was doing quite well.

Unfortunately, since the beginning of the social unrest everything changed. The gallery was hard hit by looting and violent demonstrations that forced to close the entire area for 2 months. This had a deep impact on Rosa's income. Two months without being able to sell and continue paying rent affected her daily life.

Today thanks to the support of generous donors Rosa has received merchandise to start again with her cordoneria.
