Nadine (50) arrived in Chile 21 years ago from Luxembourg in search of a new life. She has a 12-year-old son, whom she has raised on her own. A few years ago, an illness left her hemiplegic and she had five strokes. Her best friend has taken care of her and her son. He is an excellent student and helps his mother as much as he can, but Nadine still has to deal with many expenses, so she can't make ends meet.
