Aleida has had a grocery store run by her and her mother for 6 years in the Puente Alto district.

She previously worked as a secretary but was laid off and this small business became the family's livelihood.

With a lot of effort and hard work they managed to set up this small store, which is already well known in the area.

Since the social unrest began, their sales have dropped considerably. It is located in a sector of constant demonstrations and looting. They kept the store closed for more than a month because it was impossible to sell.

In addition, due to the constant power outages, their freezer stopped working.

From that day on, their warehouse collapsed, few sales, basically no merchandise to replenish.

Today thanks to the support of many donors we were able to support Aletia so she can start again.
